Aiya Terroir (Representative/Kenta Fujii)

Born in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. After studying for about 2 years under Mr. Osamu Arai, the sixth generation of the Arai Ai Seizosho, which has been in business since the Edo period in Tokushima Prefecture, he established “Aiya Terroir” in a small mountain town with a population of about 600 people in Fukuyama City. He practices indigo dyeing using the traditional Japanese technique of “natural lye fermentation and construction,” which has been handed down from generation to generation in Japan.
