Shintaro Tsukahara

16-year-old high school athlete with a sense of adventure bigger than anyone else's.

Born in 2006 in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, he was wheelchair-bound due to a traffic accident at the age of 3.

In 2014, he started chair skiing and quickly made a name for himself, being selected as a fourth year student of the 2022 Japan Rising Star Project, and after one year of training, he was registered as a next generation junior athlete by the Japan Ski Federation for the Disabled.

His biggest goal is to compete in the Milan Cortina d'Ampezzo Olympics.

Tsukahara’s Unique Story

Tsukahara’s outstanding physical abilities quickly made him a designated strength athlete. In fact, he was also a wheelchair tennis player until junior high school. He also competes in a variety of other sports, including track and field and bouldering.

Chair skiing is a sport that has been described as “Formula 1 on snow” because of its low line of sight and the ability to reach speeds of up to 100 km per hour. Tsukahara’s insatiable sense of adventure led him to challenge this sport.

IKEUCHI ORGANIC hopes to enjoy this exciting adventure together with the new talents who will shape the future of Japan.

Air Premium Bath Towel, Towel Handkerchief and Athlete Towel

I like the gold color of the towel handkerchief, and one day I hope to get a medal the same color as the handkerchief!

I like the towels because they are thick, firm and fluffy.

I use the towel on my wheelchair after taking a bath, and the fluffy texture makes it safe for my skin.

I also take it with me on expeditions.
