More power to Ehime para-athletes!

Started playing wheelchair tennis in the second grade of elementary school. Began practicing in earnest in the first year of junior high school. In his third year of junior high school, he was selected to represent Japan in the junior class, and in high school he was selected to represent Japan in the World Team Cup at the World National Championships.

Currently, he continues to aim for higher rankings from his hometown of Matsuyama, Ehime, while working for Vector Japan Co.

Shimizu’s Unique Story

Shimizu trains hard every day as the first wheelchair athlete in Ehime. In order to raise the level of Ehime’s para-athletes, he is involved in various activities together with Para-Waku (Matsuyama City), a non-profit organization that supports para-athletes. In addition to wheelchair tennis, IKEUCHI ORGANIC is also involved in basketball.

In addition to wheelchair tennis, Ehime’s para-athletes are active in a variety of other sports such as basketball, tennis, and archery.

The society will be more energetic by the activities of para-athletes. I will continue to be there for all of you.

Shimizu commented

When I actually use IKEUCHI ORGANIC towels, they are more absorbent and quick-drying than other towels, and they are very soft to the touch, so when I wipe my sweat off during breaks from practice, I feel very calm and cool. Moreover, no matter how many times you use it or how many times you wash it, the towel does not smell like sweat, which I think is a good point of the Athlete’s Towel.
